saw world trade center this weekend.  while i'm no fan of oliver stone's politics, this was easily one of the most powerful cinematic productions i've ever experienced.  it's more a story about survival, courage, love, and comraderie on an individual level than the attacks themselves.

 

there were two odd scenes in the movie which i could have done without: the weird dream sequence and the odd marine volunteer who had some sort of crusader look.

 

other than those combined 10 minutes of the movie, the rest was an incredible and moving journey.  i think 20% of the audience was weeping (including me).
